Philosophy

  • Good design helps people get more out of life.
  • Getting it right is more important than being right.
  • The best solutions come from understanding the big picture and the details.
  • Good collaboration happens when everyone feels respected and valued.

Play

What do I do outside of work?

  • I play cello and jaw harp in a groovy trad fusion dance band. We’ve been together since 2016 and have performed for dances and festivals from Indiana to Florida to Montreal. I also run live sound for dances. And dance.
  • I enjoy experimenting with new dessert recipes. (Now that it’s been a few years since I worked in a kitchen, this is fun again!)
  • I dabble in various fiber crafts - quilting, knitting, crochet, embroidery, etc. I’m pretty project-oriented, so I get an idea for something I want to make and teach myself how to do it, then set that craft aside until I’m inspired by another project idea.
